Precision Riffle splitter with controlled sample discharge.
(3mm to 16 mm slots width, specified by the client.)

The splitter is separable. The slots width and quantity can be adjusted to suit laboratory requirement. Design of the slot protecting lining is covered by Patent N°2010100147.

The splitter is made from Stainless Steel with an electro polishing finish. It is suitable for Food, Pharmaceutical and Geotechnical laboratories.

The splitter can feature two dust hoods to minimise dust pollution when operated and a swivelled carrying handle to move the unit comfortably around the premises if necessary.

The dust hoods are conveniently hinged and allow for easy inspection of the riffles to check for blockages. By lifting the dust hood the operator has clear access to quickly rectify this type of problem.

Main features of the splitters are:

• Deep loading bunker which eliminates accidental spillage of the sample over the side of the splitter.
  
  
• Does not require special trays to contain samples. In fact, most of the containers purchased off the shelf will do the job.
  
  
• One support frame will fit for a range of splitters.
  
  
• The size of the unit is convenient for handling. In other words it is not too small as to be uncomfortable to work with.
  
  
• The splitter is made of Stainless Steel SS-316, with electro polish finish. The support frame is made of aluminium plate, with powder coat finish.
  
  

  The support frame can be made out of Stainless Steel if required.

  The unit is perfect to use when it comes to split small batches of different material samples.

  Optional features:

  1. Dust hood can be incorporated into design upon request.
  2. Special purposes trays are available.

  
  

Large Riffle Splitters. (20mm to 60mm slot width)

Main features of the splitters are:

• Dust hood and fully covered receiving trays eliminate the excessive dust pollution when operated.
  
  
• Special provision is made in the design to handle tipping over heavy loads, hence increasing the accuracy of the split.
  
  
• Supplied with three trays.
  
  
• Removable dividing head. Once the head is worn out it can be replaced without the need to buy a whole Riffle Splitter anew.
  
  
• One support frame will fit for a range of splitters.
  
  
• The sizes of the slots for different dividing heads are conforming to
  ISO 3082:1998(E) Standard.
  
  
• The splitter is made of Stainless Steel SS-316, with electro polish finish. The support frame is made of Mild Steel, with powder coat finish.

  The support frame can be made out of Stainless Steel if required.

Two-Tiered Splitter

An ME&QC exclusive, this two-tiered splitter is designed for use in the field or in the lab. Ideal for drilling projects where large quantities or big samples need to be reduced in size quickly.

The front dust hood incorporates a hinged inspection hatch that allows for easy inspection of the riffles and is convenient in the case of the riffles getting blocked. By lifting the hatch the operator gets a clear access to the riffles to make rectifying a problem and cleaning between samples a snap.

Each deck contains twentyfour 15 mm riffles.
The splitter bunks are separable. The slot widths and quantity can be adjusted to suit laboratory/field requirements. Design of the slot protection lining is covered by Patent N°2010100147.

The riffle sides and a loading bunker are made out of Stainless Steel with electro polishing finish and is suitable for Food, Pharmaceutica and Geotechnical laboratories.

Different riffle widths are available by special order.
